John Skelton will be the Cardinals’ opening-day starting QB. He was already reportedly in the lead heading into last night’s game against the Raiders. Arizona gave QB Kevin Kolb the start — and one more chance to prove himself. He failed miserably. Kolb went 3 of 6 for just 22 yards on 4 possessions. Skelton then entered for one drive and went 3 for 3 with a TD. He’s been the clear-cut superior option through 3 preseason games now. While Skelton isn’t a recommended fantasy option, his big arm and willingness to chuck it downfield is good news for WR Larry Fitzgerald.
