John Beck named Week 7 starter

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Redskins HC Mike Shanahan has informed his team that QB John Beck will start Sunday's game against the Panthers.  QB Rex Grossman's 4-INT performance last weekend made this an easy decision.  Shanny has always been a big fan of Beck, so we're guessing his leash will be relatively long.  Still, this is a sub-par NFL passer working with a mediocre group of weapons.  Only Shanahan's pass-happy ways will give Beck a shot at QB2 value.
