NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reports that Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery is on the trade block. It’s possible that New York is looking to free up some cap space to bring in WR Randy Moss. Regardless, it’s clear that Cotchery, coming off February back surgery, isn’t slated to play a big part in the Jets offense this season. Plaxico Burress seems to have a good grasp on the team’s #2 WR spot. That could change if Moss is brought in though.
