Panthers TE Greg Olsen became the 4th Carolina player to restructure this offseason. His money shift leaves the team about $6..6 million over the cap, according to the Charlotte Observer. But the Panthers are still expected to cut CB Chris Gamble and DT Ron Edwards. Those moves would free up $10.4 million against the cap, thus getting Carolina under the spending limit. Fantasy football owners couldn't care much less what Olsen or any other Panther is making. But Carolina is about to get under the cap without dumping RB DeAngelo Williams. His contract still far exceeds his value to the team, but that was true when he signed it. As a fantasy player, you should hope that Williams heads elsewhere. That could enable him and Jonathan Stewart to approach their real scoring potential. In the same backfield, each would remain more likely to fall short again.
