The Pittsburgh Tribune’s Scott Brown reports that Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders underwent another surgery on his foot this past Monday. It explains why he’s expected to miss the next 3 weeks. This procedure is described as minor. Sanders had bone marrow and calcium injected into the foot to help speed up the healing process from April’s surgery. He’s still expected to be ready for Week 1, but we’re starting to get worried that these foot problems will linger. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Sanders when he gets back on the field.
