Don’t Count ULM’s Vincent Eddie Jr Out

Vincent Eddie during Pro Day

With the support of having older brother, Tony Jerod-Eddie played  in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers. Vincent Eddie Jr. knows what hard work and determination looks like, after a long season Vincent Eddie Jr. has been watching the numbers of his competitors in every position possible he could play. And knows he can play with the best of them. Despite his weight scouts from the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, and the New Orleans Saints are confident in everything that he showed during ULM Pro Day.

When asking Eddie how his brother has treated him after he elected to go to the draft, he says that his brother has been nothing but supportive and welling to help him with any and everything he asked for, he is truly one of my biggest fans and he is truly grateful for him.  Coming from one of the most competitive high schools in the nation DeSoto High School, in DeSoto,Texas  has also helped prepared him for success. The coaches prepared them by showing the students if they give their all they will have no problems making it to the next level in life or in their career paths. Because of all of the athletes and history makers that have come out of DeSoto High School, including his brother and friends such as Cyrus Gray of the Kansas City Chiefs and Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, it has inspired him to want to be great just as his fellow eagle alumni.

Eddie knows that he can bring a lot to whatever team that chooses him as a cornerback, running back  or any other position they see fit for him to fill. Although playing close to home for the Dallas Cowboys, would be a one of a kind opportunity, he will appreciate the opportunity to show his talents with any team that will call and use him as a the missing puzzle piece from their team.

The Senior from University of Louisiana- Monroe says to not count him out just yet. Even though he hasn’t heard or stayed in contact with any of the scouts he is hoping that his hard work will pay off and his phone will ring. After all the training he has done Vincent Eddie Jr. is now relaxing his body to get ready for the draft, so in case of the event he receives that call he will be prepared to give his all during his rookie season and leaving it all on the field.
