The Lions have re-signed K Dave Rayner to a 1-year deal. Filling in for the injured Jason Hanson last year, Rayner connected on 13 of 16 FG attempts. This is still Hanson’s job to lose if healthy. But that’s no sure thing considering he’s 41 years old and returning from Achilles and knee injuries. We’ll be keeping an eye on this situation over the next month.
