The Bears didn't wait long to bring in MLB Brian Urlacher's apparent successor. Chicago reached a 1-year deal with former Broncos LB D.J. Williams today. Williams played every LB position over 9 years in Denver. He spent just 1 season at 4-3 MLB, back in 2007. A 1-year deal doesn't necessarily lock Williams in as the starter, of course. He could serve as insurance in case the Bears don't get their guy in the draft.
