Colin Kaepernick learning the new offense

With the lockout still in place, 49ers rookie QB Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have the team’s playbook, and he’s unable to meet with the coaching staff.  But that’s not preventing him from learning HC Jim Harbaugh’s offense.  Kaepernick plans on working with Stanford QB Andrew Luck, who was coached by Harbaugh the last 3 years, to starting learning the scheme.  "I’m going to try and pick his brain as much as I can and try to get a jump-start into this offense, and pick up as much as I can from him," Kaepernick said.  He’s a bit of a project, but we wouldn’t put it past him to beat out QB Alex Smith for the 49ers’ starting job.  Kaepernick has a chance to be special under Harbaugh’s tutelage.
