Bucs FS Cody Grimm was carted off in the 2nd half Sunday with what's feared to be a serious knee injury. Grimm is reportedly worried that he might have suffered an ACL tear, though that has yet to be confirmed. Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports that the injury could be season-ending even if it wasn't a complete ligament tear. We'll see what further testing reveals. Either way, the Bucs are now in a bind at FS. With no other strong option on the roster, the team could be even more willing to turn to Tanard Jackson upon his return. Of course, Jackson has yet to be reinstated after his yearlong league drug suspension, despite becoming eligible last week. This will be a situation worth watching for IDP owners. Opponents figure to test the Bucs with some deep passing until the D proves it can hold up.
UPDATE: Grimm is out for the season with an ACL tear, per Stroud.
