Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson had a rough start to the season, and was playing better, but suffered a sprained ankle this weekend.
He had logged three 130+ yard games in the last five weeks going into this weekend. He has 930 yards and 4 TDs this season.
Coach Mike Munchak said tests were negative. “He’ll be questionable this week, but we saw him (Monday) and we don’t think there’s any reason he’ll be out for the game,” Munchak said. “But he is definitely sore, so we’ll see how he is this week.”
“He is a little sorer than I thought,” Munchak said, “but not something (trainers) are concerned about.”
