The Chiefs and Tyler Palko arrived at Soldier Field in Chicago as heavy underdogs and left having ended a long losing streak. Palko completed his first NFL touchdown pass late in the first half on a hail mary pass that a Bears defender knocked into the arms of Dexter McCluster. The Bears, already without starting QB Jay Cutler, lost starting RB Matt Forte early in the first quarter with a knee injury.
