According to the National Football Post’s Dan Pompei, the Panthers "believe [DeAngelo] Williams is their best RB" and plan on doing their best to bring him back for 2011. Williams will either be a restricted or unrestricted free-agent depending on the new CBA rules. Carolina has good depth behind him with Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson, but new OC Rob Chudzinski’s offense reportedly calls for multiple backs to get a lot of action. If Williams ends up staying in Carolina, it’d put a damper on both his and Stewart’s fantasy upsides.
