Calvin Johnson, Jared Allen Lead All Pro Votes

The full votes are in for the AP All Pro Team, and since the voting is by position, it does reveal a few interesting things about who is considered most dominant at their positions.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers received 47.5 out of a possible 50 votes, with Drew Brees getting the remaining 2.5 votes.  Tom Brady turned in the second highest yardage total in NFL history and didn’t get a single vote.

But Rodgers wasn’t the most dominant – Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson received 49 out of 50, as did Vikings defensive end Jared Allen.

Lions WR Calvin Johnson, aka Megatron

Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis came close with 48 votes.  The 49ers managed to get the two highest vote getters at inside linebacker, with Patrick Willis getting 32 votes and NaVorro Bowman coming in second with 16, speaking to the strength of the 49ers up the middle.

And in one of the more surprising oversights, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh received only 1 vote for the All Pro team, tying him for sixth place with 8 other DTs around the league.  The Ravens Haloti Ngata was the highest vote-getter among defensive tackles.
