ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed C Fernando Velasco. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Velasco comes to Buffalo after spending the past two seasons with the Carolina Panthers. The 6-4, 310-pound Georgia product originally entered the NFL in 2009 as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans. In addition to Tennessee and Carolina, Velasco has spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers during his seven NFL seasons.

Velasco, 31, has started 38-of-83 career games played. He is a native of Wrens, Georgia.
