According to NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Steelers officials would be "shocked" if QB Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) played against the Rams this weekend. Big Ben appeared to make it through last Monday night’s game without worsening the injury, but he was clearly impacted by his immobility. La Canfora believes the team will rest Roethlisberger at least 1 game. They’re capable of beating the Rams with QB Charlie Batch piloting a run-heavy attack. It’s bad news for Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown, though, who will be just WR3s if Batch starts. Stay tuned for updates.
