Barrett Ruud out; McCarthy questionable

Titans MLB Barrett Ruud has been ruled out for Sunday because of a groin injury. The clears the way for Colin McCarthy to make his 2nd start in 3 weeks, assuming the rookie is active. McCarthy is questionable with a knee injury but participated in a full practice Friday. The same injury also landed him on the injury report in Week 11, when he played through. If McCarthy can turn in a 3rd straight impressive performance, Ruud might no longer have a starting gig when he returns to health. IDP owners should go ahead and claim the rookie where he's still available. He's a solid starting option this week against the Bucs.
