The rash of injury troubles for the New York Giants continue, as center David Baas is still suffering from intense headaches that caused him to miss the Giants game last week, and the rest of his season could be in doubt.
The headaches are described as “migraine-type” headaches, which Baas indicated stem from a neck injury that occurred in September. Head coach Tom Coughlin indicated that his symptoms are “much more serious than a headache, obviously,” and that he is undergoing additional tests to determine the cause.
“I’ve been dealing with it pretty much all season,” Baas said. “These issues have stemmed into migraine symptoms. Now we’re getting a lot of tests done and evaluations. I’m going to let the medical staff handle all that and make the right decision.”
“I really want to play football, but my health is very important to me,” Baas added. “They’re going to make the best decision.”
