Antonio Gates expected to play Week 3?

Chargers beat writer Kevin Acee expects TE Antonio Gates (foot) to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.  "I would think that Antonio Gates will get out there and play," Acee said on a radio appearance Friday.  Acee is one of the best in the biz, so his opinion carries significant weight.  But the fact remains that Gates' status won't be determined for sure until just before gametime.  And with the Chargers kicking off at 4:05 pm ET, he's a risky fantasy start unless you have a viable late-game alternative.
