Alex Green was never at 100% in 2012

The Packers don't believe RB Alex Green was ever at 100% this past season after suffering a torn ACL in September of 2011.  "He was limited all through camp and really into the opening part of the season he was limited in practice reps, so that right there tells you it wasn’t 100 percent," RBs coach Alex Van Pelt said. “His knee wasn’t completely healed, so him battling through that I’m sure had something to do with it breaking down toward the end of the season.”  Green actually led Green Bay in rushing in 2012 and Green should regain explosion as he puts that knee injury further behind him.  And he has a good chance to open 2013 as the Packers' lead back.  Cedric Benson is a free-agent, James Starks can't stay healthy, and DuJuan Harris is better suited to a change-of-pace role.
