The Vikings announced that RB Adrian Peterson underwent surgery this morning to repair a core muscle injury -- or a sports hernia. "We expect a speedy recovery with no long term concerns," the team said via Twitter. We'll bet on a speedy recovery too considering how AP swatted away that torn ACL this past offseason. The fact that Peterson played through this injury in 2012 just makes his 2,000-yard campaign even more impressive. The league should be quivering at the thought of what a healthier AP will do in 2013.
