The Jets have released QB Tim Tebow. No surprise there. New York had 6 QBs on the roster after drafting Geno Smith on Friday. Tebow had no shot at the starting job and wasn’t going to get the $2.6 million he was due this year. He’s now free to sign elsewhere. Don’t expect a hot market, though. The Jaguars have long been labeled his best landing spot, but they’ve expressed no interest. Tebow’s best bet for a job might be with his former HC Josh McDaniels in New England.
