Tebow Made Rob Ryan Throw Up

The Denver Broncos come-from-behind victory over the New York Jets on Thursday night was certain upsetting to Jets coach Rex Ryan, but it had a very visceral effect on his twin brother, too.

It made me, uh, throw up,” Rob Ryan, Cowboys’ defensive coordinator, said according to The Dallas Morning News.

Ryan doesn’t like the offense that Tebow and the Broncos are running at all.  “I don’t like it because it’s college football,” Ryan said. “The things you see, a lot of spread. We’re getting a lot of two tight ends blocking for empty sets.  Who would have ever thought that?”

“This is the NFL. Those teams don’t win.”

The point about it resembling a college offense is fair, but as far as not winning, The Broncos are 4-1 since Tebow was giving the starting job.  And it certainly was good enough to beat his brother’s Jets.

The always-articulate Ryan responded, “That team (the Broncos) did win last night, but it was horse (explicit) and thanks for pointing that out.”
