Super Bowl L Host between New Orleans and Miami

According to Jarrett Bell of USA Today the league’s Super Bowl Advisory Committee will recommend New Orleans and Miami to become the hosts of the 50th Anniversary Super Bowl L. Those two cities have combined to be the host to 20 Super Bowls. The nightlife on Bourbon Street and South Beach may make these cities more attractive.

Other cities that looked to be in the running were Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis and San Francisco/Santa Clara.

While no final decision has been made that those are the two cities only being considered, San Francisco/Santa Clara are making a strong bid to be the host.

“We are excited to bid for the first Super Bowl in the Bay Area since January of 1985. Nothing brings a region together like a Super Bowl. Now we have to work together to show the new stadium in Santa Clara will put on a great show.” Said San Francisco 49ers Chief Executive Officer Jed York.
