Chargers RB Ryan Mathews got good news about his recovery from shoulder surgery when he visited his surgeon on Monday. "He was using a lot of big words," Mathews said. "But he said everything is going good. He said just be patient with it... It's right where I thought it would be. In two weeks, a bone is not going to be completely healed. But knowing my body, I think it's going right where it's supposed to be and it's going faster than normal." Mathews has been doing lower-body workouts throughout the rehab process. Now he's been cleared to do upper-body stuff on the left side (it's the right shoulder that hurt). Mathews is still aiming for a Week 1 return. We're setting the over/under at Week 3.
