Seahawks QB Russell Wilson will start the team's 3rd preseason game against the Chiefs on Friday night. Consider it a reward for the rookie's stellar play in the first 2 exhibitions. He's completed 67% of his passes, averaged 8.5 yards per attempt, and tossed 3 TDs vs. just 1 INT. That's all come against backups though. Seattle wants to get a look at Wilson against a starting defense. It'll help them make a more "apples to apples" comparison between the rookie and Matt Flynn. The veteran remains the odds-on favorite to start Week 1. He's been solid in the first half of each of the first 2 exhibitions. Wilson is nipping at his heels though, so Flynn won't be on a long leash this season. It's a situation to avoid in redraft leagues, although we'd snap up Wilson quickly in dynasty formats. He'll be under center for Seattle sooner than later.
