Russell Wilson drafted in 3rd by Seahawks

Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson went to Seattle with the 75th pick of the draft. A favorite of our very Jared Smola, Wilson is a heady passer with excellent accuracy and adequate arm strength. He completed 73% of his passes with 33 TDs and 4 INTs this past year. If he wasn’t just 5’11, he would have been at least a 2nd-round pick. At worst, we like Wilson as a high-quality NFL backup. And with only the unproven Matt Flynn and mediocre Tarvaris Jackson ahead of him, Wilson has a shot to eventually crack the starting lineup. He’s worth monitoring in keeper and dynasty leagues.
