NFL teams are adding more rhythm and dancing to game day and it’s not just in the end zone. Each team has added a new anthem that will rock the stadiums Sunday. The Patriots and Jets, more specifically, will get songs from major artists that are affiliated with their cities.
On Sunday, in Foxborough, the Pats and Jets will hear their anthems played in the stadium. Aerosmith is a Bostonian and has recorded “Legendary Child” for the Pats. Lenny Kravitz wrote the song “Like A Jet” for the Jets. Both songs can be downloaded by fans at PepsiAnthems.com and seen during commercials during the CBS telecast of the game.
A few of the team beats that will have fans ears ringing include: a Kid Rock composed Lions song, a Kelly Clarkson Cowboys hit, an Ice Cube beat for the Raiders and a Travie McCoy special written for the Giants anthem. The most popular anthem is Wiz Khalifa’s Steelers hit, “Black and Yellow.”
The Bills will keep their “Shout” song, as the Broncos will use their “Mile High Salute.”
