Denver Broncos’ outside linebacker Von Miller was teammates with former Broncos’ quarterback Tim Tebow for only one season; however, that was enough for Miller to make a bold prediction about Tebow.
“I think everybody’s mistaken if you think he’s just going to go over there and be a wildcat quarterback or a situational quarterback,” Miller said, according to the Associated Press. “The Tebow that I know is going… to be able to compete for that starting job.”
Tebow was traded to the New York Jets last month after the Broncos signed quarterback Peyton Manning.
Of course, Miller doesn’t get a vote. The person who decides who is going to start is Jets’ head coach Rex Ryan, and right now, Sanchez is his starter.
