The Seahawks have released WR Mike Williams. No surprise here. Williams was due $3.6 million in 2012 and was set to open the season 4th (at best) on Seattle's depth chart. After posting a 65/751/2 line in 2010, Williams managed just 18 catches for 236 yards and 1 TD in 12 games this past year. He went down with a fractured leg last December and didn't start running again until late-April. Williams should find a new home over the next few weeks, but he's a long shot to make any kind of fantasy impact in 2012. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are banking on Sidney Rice, Golden Tate, and Doug Baldwin to serve as their top-3 receivers.
