Eagles insider Adam Caplan doesn't see a clear cut #2 RB on the roster. Dion Lewis will enter training camp as the favorite for the gig, but he's unproven and undersized (5'7, 195 pounds). "My sense is if [LeSean] McCoy couldn’t play in a given week, we could see a two-man backfield with Lewis and another back," Caplan writes. That other back will be one of two rookies: Bryce Brown or Chris Polk. Brown, a 7th-round pick, boasts a nice size-speed combo but struggles in pass protection. Polk is better in that area but went undrafted because of numerous medical issues. Philly is only expected to keep one of those guys. And it sounds like that guy would split the workload with Lewis if McCoy went down.
