Texans WR Andre Johnson has officially been upgraded to probably and is expected to start.
Bills SS George Wilson has been ruled out for the 2nd straight week because of a neck injury. He has yet to return to practice. Rookie Da’Norris Searcy will get another start in Wilson’s stead. Searcy made 11 tackles (9 solo) in Week 11. Wilson turned in his weakest fantasy outing of the year in the 1st meeting with the Jets, though, tallying just 5 tackles (3 solo).
In addition, Bills have RB Fred Jackson, WR Donald Jones, K Rian Lindell, CB Terrence McGee, WR Naaman Roosevelt out. In addition, WRs Stevie Johnson and David Nelson are probably. Virtually all of the Bills offensive weapons from early in the season are dinged up, except quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is listed as doubtful for this week with an ankle injury.
The Jaguars will be without LDE starter Matt Roth on Sunday after he suffered a concussion against the Browns in Week 11. The team will also miss DT Terrance “Pot Roast” Knighton for the 3rd straight game because of an ankle injury. Both absences will hurt the Jacksonville run D against a potent Houston rushing attack. Jacksonville also placed CB Derek Cox on IR Friday with a knee injury, leaving the starting jobs to William Middleton and Ashton Youboty. Youboty has been with the team all of a week and a half.
Bucs LDE Michael Bennett is doubtful after missing practice all week with a groin injury. Bennett’s season-low 41 snaps against the Packers in Week 11 helped rookie Da’Quan Bowers match his season high of 28 snaps. The 2nd-round pick also produced his 1st QB hit and 1st 2-pressure game of the year, according to Pro Football Focus. Look for Bowers to get more playing time with Bennett out.
Washington SS LaRon Landry is officially probable and expected to return against the Seahawks on Sunday. Landry missed Week 11 after his troublesome Achilles tendon flared back up but said even then he wanted to play through.
Patriots Brandon Spikes and Dane Fletcher are out. Chad Ochocinco, Deion Branch, Patrick Chung, Matt Light and Devin McCourty are questionable. Wes Welker is probable.
Eagles Jeremy Maclin is doubtful, and expected not to play. Nnamdi Asomugha and Michael Vick are questionable and expected not to play.
