Citing sources within the Cardinals organization, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that John Skelton is now considered the favorite to be the team's starting QB. Kevin Kolb entered training camp with the lead, but he's been brutal through 2 preseason games, completing just 2 of 9 passes for 25 yards and 1 INT. Skelton has been better only by comparison. He's 7 of 12 for 67 yards and a pick. Kolb is slated to start the team's 3rd exhibition this Friday and could inch back ahead with a good showing. But for now, consider Skelton the favorite to start Week 1. We just adjusted our projections for the Cardinals' QBs, but it remains a situation to avoid in fantasy. We do think WR Larry Fitzgerald would be better off with Skelton under center though. He has a bigger arm than Kolb and isn't afraid to take shots downfield.
