DE John Abraham didn't stay on the market long before signing a new 3-year deal with the Falcons Friday. The veteran reportedly got looks from the Titans and Broncos but will remain in his home for the past 6 years. Abraham plays limited snaps at this stage, compared with other top DEs, but he's still highly productive as a pass rusher. Pro Football Focus rated him 3rd overall among 4-3 DEs last season. He tied for 8th at the position with 37 QB pressures, on top of 10 sacks and 8 hits. Abraham will continue to share time with Kroy Biermann and Ray Edwards. That might limit his tackle numbers, but it ultimately increases his effectiveness and durability.
