Jets, Cardinals, Patriots Sign Key Picks

The New York Jets took defensive lineman Quinton Couples 16th overall in April’s National Football League Draft.  On Thursday the Jets announced that they signed him to a contract.

According to the New York Daily News, it’s the standard rookie contract, which is four years with a team fifth year option. The singing leaves third round pick linebacker Demario Davis and seventh round pick wide receiver Jordan White yet to be signed.

As for the Arizona Cardinals, they announced that they signed seventh round draft pick offensive lineman Nate Potter. That leaves third round pick cornerback Jamell Fleming and first round draft pick wide receiver Michael Floyd the only two not signed yet.

As for the Patriots, they announced that they signed seventh round draft pick Jeremy Ebert to a contract. Also, the Boston Globe reports that the Patriots also signed their other seventh round draft pick cornerback Alfonzo Dennard.
