Jaiquawn Jarrett to Get 1st Start

Eagles starting S Nate Allen has been ruled out this week with a concussion. That will mean the 1st career start for 2nd-round pick Jaiquawn Jarrett. The rookie entered Monday's loss to the Bears after Allen suffered his injury early. DC Juan Castillo credited Jarrett with playing a "solid game." That qualifies as an outstanding debut compared with some of the other trash thrown up by Eagles safeties this year. We'll see how Jarrett can fare in his 1st try as starter.
