After Jacksonville Jaguars owner hired David Caldwell as the teams new General Manager the question was if the Jags current head coach Mike Mularkey would stick around to coach another year.
Nope.
Caldwell fired Coach Mularkey after only one disastrous season in which they went 2-14, a franchise low.
This was Mike Mularkey’s second go round as a head coach, coaching for the Buffalo Bills from 2004-2005. His only winning season as a head coach came in his first season when the Bills went 9-7, narrowing missing the playoffs.
Mularky’s career record as a head coach is 16-32.
The Jaguars are undergoing a total reconstruction from the top down. Shad Khan became the team’s new owner last season and has now hired a new general manager and will now look for a new head coach.
Once, the team names a new head coach the next question is will they find a new franchise quarterback?
