Gronkowski Sets Record

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski scored two TDs Monday night in the Patriots 34-3 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.  His second TD put him at 20 TDs for his career, a milestone he reached in only 26 games, which is the record for fastest tight end to reach that milestone.

The old record was held by Hall-of-Fame tight end and Chicago Bear Iron Mike Ditka.

Gronkowski is second on the team in catches and yards (56 receptions for 805 yards) to WR Wes Welker, who is leading the league in those categories.  Gronkowski is also second in the league in receiving TDs with 10, trailing only Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson.
