Fred Jackson leg injury won’t impact him in 2012

Bills RB Fred Jackson is confident that last November's broken leg won't be a factor this season.  "I don't really consider my injury last year as serious as a lot of people say," Fred Jax said. "It was just a dumb bone that I fractured. But I was walking around on it two weeks later without any problem. It's a non-weight-bearing bone. I'm fine, 100 percent ready to go."  Unlike muscle or ligament damage, broken bones don't linger.  And Jackson was cleared way back in December.  We're more concerned about the fact that he's 31 years old and has a talented young RB in C.J. Spiller breathing down his neck.  We'll be keeping a close eye on how the backfield workload is divvied in camp and preseason.
