Jeff Kaye, who served as a narrator for NFL Films as well as a radio DJ and TV broadcaster, has died of cancer at the age of 75.
Kaye was a four-time Emmy winner who was known for his work on Buffalo Bills broadcast which got him the job at NFL Films in 1985, shortly after the death of the legendary John Facenda, commonly known as the “Voice of God”. Kay would share the narrator duties with other legend Harry Kalas for NFL Films for the next several years.
Kaye now joins recently passed legend Steve Sabol, who also died of cancer, along with John Facenda and Harry Kalas as the NFL Films crew reunites in Heaven. The NFL world offers their condolences.
