Panthers GM Marty Hurney revealed that WR David Gettis is missing the start of training camp because of a hamstring injury. It's not related to the torn ACL he suffered last August. Consider this good news. Hurney deemed the injury "minor," and said that Gettis is expected to be on the field soon. ESPN's Pat Yasinskas confirms that Gettis is "in the mix" for the #2 WR spot currently held by Brandon LaFell.
