In pre-draft circles, Colts rookie TE Coby Fleener was considered a polished pass-catcher who needed to improve in the blocking game. But OC Bruce Arians has the exact opposite assessment of the rookie. “He’s a really good blocker on the offensive line," Arians said. "We need to get him better as a receiver. But he’s making progress.” Consider this good news for Fleener. We know he can produce as a receiver, with good size, speed, and hands. The fact that he's performing well as a blocker will help keep him on the field for a full slate of snaps. Indy's initial depth chart has Fleener listed as the in-line TE and fellow rookie Dwayne Allen as the "move" TE. Fleener remains the better bet for production, but we'd only consider him a fantasy backup.
