Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano who is currently battling leukemia certainly had a lot to be thankful for this past Thanksgiving.
Chris Mortensen on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown reports that after the second of three chemotherapy sessions he was allowed to go home for Thanksgiving and was able to be with his family and held his newborn baby granddaughter Zoe who weighed 9 lbs. Doctors confirmed that Pagano is in complete remission of his leukemia with one final chemo session to start this coming Friday.
Mortensen also reports that it is possible for Coach Pagano to return to the sideline before the end of the season, way ahead of schedule. However, his wife Tina, is trying to curb his ambitions and passion to return to coaching at this time.
