The Eagles signed University of Washington RB Chris Polk. Considered a Round 2 prospect by many, Polk surprisingly went undrafted. Teams are reportedly concerned about a shoulder that Polk had operated on back in 2010. But it held up just fine this past season, when Polk racked up 1,448 yards and 12 scores on 293 carries. The 5'11, 212-pounder is a hard-nosed downhill runner. He lacks that 2nd gear but does bring added value as a reliable pass-catcher. A more well-rounded back than Dion Lewis, Polk has a good shot at winning the Eagles' #2 RB job. That'd make him a valuable handcuff for LeSean McCoy owners.
