The Kansas City Chiefs claimed Kyle Orton off of waivers today. The Chiefs lost starter Matt Cassel for the rest of the season, and backup Tyler Palko did not play well in his one start in relief, throwing 3 interceptions and no touchdowns in a 34-3 loss to the New England Patriots.
The Chiefs next game is Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, followed by a trip to Chicago to face the Bears, so the schedule doesn’t get any easier for the Chief in the short term.
