The Buffalo Bills announced today that Bills G Richie Incognito has been named to this year’s Pro Bowl.
The selection marks the third time in Incognito’s career that he has earned Pro Bowl honors after being named a Pro Bowler during his first season with the Bills in 2015 and with the Miami Dolphins in 2012.
Incognito started all 16 games for the Bills in 2016 at guard and helped pave the way to the Bills having both the top rushing attack in the NFL in yards (2,630) and yards per carry (5.35). The Bills rushing attack also tallied 29 rushing touchdowns on the year—a new franchise record surpassing the old mark of 26 rushing touchdowns set in 1976.
After heading to the Pro Bowl in 2015, Incognito becomes the first Bills offensive lineman to earn consecutive Pro Bowl berths since T Jason Peters went to back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2007 and 2008.
The game will be played on Sunday, January 29, 2017 and simulcast live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Fans may visit NFL.com/ProBowlOnSale to purchase game tickets.
The 2017 Pro Bowl will feature a return to the traditional AFC vs. NFC format following three years using a revised, “unconferenced” structure.
