The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team claimed and was awarded TE Mickey Shuler off waivers from the Oakland Raiders.
Shuler, a 6-4, 247-pound Penn State product, entered the NFL as a seventh-round (214th overall) draft choice of the Minnesota Vikings in 2010. He spent a portion of his rookie year with Minnesota and the Miami Dolphins and caught two passes for 44 yards in six games played with Miami. Shuler re-joined the Vikings in 2011 after being released by Cincinnati who claimed him off of waivers from Miami (9/4/11). He spent the final 11 weeks of the 2012 season on the Practice Squad of the Oakland Raiders.
The Bills also announced that WR Kevin Norrell has been Waived/Injured.
