LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears signed LB Sam Acho to a one-year contract.
Acho, entered the league as a 4th round pick (103rd overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2011 NFL draft out of Texas. The Dallas, Texas native has appeared in 51 games (32 starts) over four seasons with the Cardinals (2011-14), recording 86 tackles, 13 sacks, 16 tackles for a loss, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and eight pass breakups.
Acho started his lone playoff appearance in 2014, tallying two tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.
