The Falcons held off a late surge by the Jay Locker led Titans to improve to 6-4 on the season. The Falcons got out to a 23-3 lead with touchdowns from Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner. After a Matt Hasselbeck injury, Jake Locker entered the game and connected with Nate Washington twice in the end zone to cut the Atlanta lead to 23-17. That is as close as they would get as the Falcons got a few late first downs and never gave the ball back to the Titans.
