DeMarco Murray won’t play Week 7

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirms that RB DeMarco Murray (foot) won't play against the Panthers this weekend.  “I think we were encouraged that his sprain was not any more serious than it is,” Jones said. “He’s a tough guy. I regret that we’re not going to have him against Carolina, which looks obvious. I’m encouraged that we’re going to have him as we move along."  Murray avoided a season-ending injury, but "he will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis," according to insider Brandon George.  Felix Jones will serve as Dallas' lead back in the meantime.  He should be good for 15+ touches per game.
